Sleater Kinney Announces Additional 2015 Tour Dates

After a ten year hiatus following their seventh studio album The Woods, punk rock trio Sleater Kinney filled the void in our hearts with the release of their ferociously anthemic No Cities to Love in January of this year. In celebration of their return, the riot grrls have spent the entirety of the past year hopping from state to state and they show no signs of stopping.

In addition to two upcoming musical festivals, the band just announced eleven new dates to cap off their tour, a sort of victory lap that has left fans delighted.

July 18th – Chicago, IL – Pitchfork Music Festival

November 21st & 22nd  – Mexico City, New Mexico – Corona Capital Festival

December 4th – Indianapolis, Indiana – Old National Centre

December 5th – Columbus, Ohio – Newport Music Hall

December 6th – Cincinnati, Ohio – Bogarts

December 8th – Royal Oak, Michigan – Royal Oak Music Theatre

December 9th – Cleveland, Ohio – Masonic Auditorium

December 10th – Buffalo, NY – Asbury Hall

December 12th – Brooklyn, NY – Kings Theatre

December 13th – New York, NY – Terminal 5

December 14th – New York, NY – Irving Plaza

December 15th – Brooklyn, NY – Music Hall of Williamsburg

December 16th – Brooklyn, NY – Market Hotel

Their final date, December 16th’s, will be an intimate concert housed at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel, a soon-to-reopen venue focused on all-ages, accessible, independent shows, a model that the band has championed since their formation in 1994.
