Just before 2 o’clock on Wednesday, July, 20th 2016, the band My Chemical Romance’s dormant Twitter account released a 34-second video of a flag waving in the wind. The flag had a black cross on it and was bathed in white light. The twitter page also showcased a similar cross with the letters M, C, R, and X in the quadrants.
*Warning: you may have to play it multiple times if you’re like me, and start bawling every time the music starts.

This week, Boys Like Girls announced they will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of their self-titled album, originally released August 22nd, 2006. The band will commemorate the album that kickstarted their multi-platinum career with a 6-show tour in August and a special first-edition translucent red, lime green, and teal vinyl pressing of the album.
That’s right, the album that was most definitely the soundtrack to your high school romances is finally getting the celebration it deserves. Don’t tell me you don’t remember fantasizing about an adventurous relationship every time “The Great Escape” came on the radio, making “Thunder” your “song” of your summer romance, or requesting “Hero/Heroine” at all your school dances so you could slow dance with your sweetheart.
General on-sale tickets are available tomorrow, Friday 5/13 at 12pm local time. Tickets and vinyl orders can be placed on the band’s website. Continue reading ICYMI: Boys Like Girls Announce Anniversary Tour & Special Edition Vinyl
