Concert Review – Brand New at Leeds 02 Academy

After pulling out of Reading & Leeds festivals, Brand New returned to grace these English shores again for the first time since 2012 on April 14th. This time, these highly anticipated and long awaited music veterans brought along The Front Bottoms and Saves The Day for support.

The Front Bottoms kicked the show off playing a plethora of songs from their 2013 album ‘Talon of the Hawk’. Warming up the crowd well enough for the rest of the night with their folk punk style despite some keyboard tones that crawled under your skin  and some anecdotes from frontman Brian Sella that probably could have done with some explaining.
