Vans Warped Tour made their stop in West Palm Beach on July 3, 2016. Bands like Sum 41, The Maine, Sleeping With Sirens, and New Found Glory shook the amphitheater, while Emarosa, The Word Alive, and Crown the Empire brought massive crowds to the outdoor stages — and even brought fans along (see: The Word Alive). I got the chance to photograph a handful of bands, including those mentioned, and walked away with some of the best photos I have ever captured. Take a look below!
State Champs took the main stage for the first time at the 2016 Vans Warped Tour in Mansfield, MA. This band has exponentially grown over the course of their 3 years together and it’s crazy to have seen them play the Breakthrough stage only 2 years ago. Check out the photos below!
State Champs and Neck Deep have announced the North American leg of their 2016 World Tour. Joining them will be Knuckle Puck and Like Pacific. Dates below. Tickets are on sale Friday, December 11.
As 2014 comes to a close, I look back on how amazing The Daily Slice’s first year has been. We’ve interviewed some amazing artists, started important conversations, and shed light on some incredible music. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with the best staff I could have ever asked for, and, if you couldn’t tell, our taste in music as a group is kind of all over the place.
As we ring in the new year, and prepare to start our second year as a team (including some brand new members!), we want to show all of you the diversity of our musical preferences by sharing our favorite songs of 2014 with you. Check them out below, and let us know your favorites in the comments!
Thank you for a great first year as a site, and I can’t wait to share our plans for 2015 with all of you. Happy New Year!
The end of summer is approaching, which means all of us students out there are in the home stretch of attempts to get back into shape before the next school year rolls around. So, for this week’s Mixtape Monday, I decided to put together a playlist of a few of my favorite songs and artists to work out to. Check it out below and make sure to follow us on Spotify for future playlists!
